SEMA Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to advocating for the identification and preservation of Kurdistan’s culture. 

SEMA aims to safeguard Kurdistan’s heritage and empower future generations to embrace this heritage and advocate for peaceful coexistence on the global stage. Driven by a commitment to a non-partisan and non-profit approach, SEMA honors the legacy of our ancestors and cultivates connections within and beyond the Kurdish community. 

As part of our cultural preservation initiatives, SEMA proudly hosts the first annual Duhok Dance Festival on International Dance Day, April 29th and April 30th of 2024. This groundbreaking event will showcase traditional Kurdish dances, music, and customs, casting a spotlight on Kurdistan’s traditions.
