For the first time ever, Sema Cultural Organization is hosting the Duhok Dance Festival – an event that showcases the different dances from all parts of Kurdistan. 

Thirteen dance groups and three music groups will be performing on one stage to celebrate Kurdistan’s dance and culture, showcasing Kurdistan’s culture to the world. This festival also serves as a platform to promote a global understanding of Kurdish culture through panel discussions featuring great Kurdish authors, poets, artists, and academics. 

Sema Organization is a non-profit, non-governmental organization advocating for the preservation of Kurdish identity and culture. Sema is committed to a non-partisan and non-profit approach, and hopes to promote its values of togetherness and cultural preservation through cultural events like the Duhok Dance Festival.
